After an explosion at a medical lab downtown a group of teenagers set out to find missing loved ones. While saving her they notice one of the men is missing part of his face. Will they be able to make it to safety, or will they become one of the dead. Throw on top of it that one of them seems to be getting visions of the future and they learn a startling piece of information about how the dead have come back to life.

The story of 4 best friends surviving the end of the world. They survive through great things that regular teenagers would die doing. Through the entire process they go through sadness, betrayal, heartbreak, and learning how to put trust in one another. Do you think you would survive this apocalypse?

The school started off as any other school year for Autumn Winters. But at the worst possible moment an outbreak occured and the whole school turned into chaos. Autumn and her misfit group of friends make it out of the school, trying to fight for their lives as the people they once knew and maybe even loved tried to bite at their flesh. The group met new people and made new friends, as well as making even more enimies as if them all being stuck with eachother wasn't bad enough. The question is, will the group of misfits survive long enough to be rescued from this mess? Or will some fail to survive or die horribly trying?
