Alhaitham's life has been tainted with disturbances. At the age of 2, his hearing was categorized as deafness, and his migraines have been progressing in severity. The one thing that he's found, in the midst of his knowledge-focused ambitions, is an escape in the form of his friend and roommate, Kaveh. As he navigates through a new chapter of his life, college, Alhaitham begins to realize that he needs to move away from his cold, unfeeling demeanor. Kaveh helps him to face his emotions head on, developing a relationship with his roommate that neither of them can fully comprehend.

and im also sorry if my portrayal of being deaf gets on your nerves. im not deaf, so i don't know what it's like, but ive consulted the internet + talked to people abt what it's like to be deaf. just experimenting w this sort of characterization. pls don't come at me. also, im totally open to criticism on this basis. if i get some shit wrong in writing a deaf character, ill be happy to receive help on how to make the story more accurate!!
