Violet Brown has always enjoyed solving crimes whether it's little investigations around the school, solving cold cases from around the world or re-reading the same detective novels over and over to pick up clues that she missed before. There is one crime she's never been able to solve the case of Monica Winters a girl that went missing five years ago and her boyfriend who was found dead in the woods hours later at the same boarding school Violet attends but there has always been a vital piece missing.
