It makes sense though. She's a successor of Cruz- Torres Medical Empire after all. Zhandrria Raquel Torres is a competitive and consistent honor student. It must be hard to be like her who is under pressure and expectations coming from her family specially from her mom. All her life she do what her mom told her to do without hesitation just to make her proud. She did well on her studies, ace all the test and become the best of the best.

At first everything is doing great. Everything that she's expecting was happening. She's always at the top spot and a candidate for batch valedictorian. Not until a transferee came that ruined all her plans. Nicollo Isla a newly elected SSG President of Southville International School and also a competitive student from his previous school. Because of Nicollo, Zhandrria experienced to be the 2nd best. After knowing about this, Zhandrria became more active in school and was aiming to beat Nicollo. And then an idea popped out of nowhere, she needs to distract her rival and the only way to do it is to make him fall in love with her.
