"The zombie apocalypse has begun, run for your lives! There's a high chance you will not survive, and it most certainly will not be so pleasa-" Screaming was heard from the news reporter on the TV before it glitched out. He turned it off, throwing the remote and packing lightly, grabbing his bat and putting on light clothing he could run in but still be comfortable. He even brought a picture with him of his family, and a stuffed bear just to remind him of home that won't necessarily be home anymore.
Eijirou was only a 17-year-old boy, he never thought the zombie apocalypse would actually happen right before his eyes. He only thought it all happened in movies and TV shows, like "The Walking Dead" or something. He was terrified, his mom would be in danger, he'd be in danger, he'd do anything to save her life, but was it worth turning into a zombie for her? She swore to him no matter what, zombie or not, she'd always love him and would care for him, letting him get away with almost anything since he wasn't really a bad kid.
But this was survival. He couldn't get bitten, no matter how much he needed to save his mother. If he wanted to save her, he'd trust her to save herself. And even if she got bitten, she'd want the best for him.
