Tommy stood there, frozen, as he could barely comprehend the cruelty that stood before his eyes.

Cages. Large and tiny cages, each filled with exotic creatures clawing at their constraints. With the way some of their eyes were looking at him he knew he didn't stumble upon a simple pet fare. He knew a couple were rarer animals from remote planets, but those guys couldn't fool him. At least half of them had to be sentient.

After standing rooted to the ground for too long, the shopkeeper's eyes quickly found him as well. The man mouthed a word and the person in the hood turned in his direction, bright green eyes flaring out of an infinite darkness.

The shadows were curling closer around his throat. Before he could even comprehend what was happening he was yanked backwards by his arm. He only got a glimpse of the weapon behind him before he registered Tubbo's voice:

"Tommy, Run!"
