The Threat of Success

Pip finds himself on an adventure of self discovery, and one laced with magic and lies. With his mother deceased and his father continuing to lie about the past Pip wants so desperately to find out the truth. Forced into an education where he is expected to exceed Pip struggles and continues to find his life in jeopardy. Pip's father, newly indoctrinated into the Magus Committee is creating new suspicions and cutting corners to achieve his twisted desires, Pip, trying only to stop the inevitable. He wants to grow to be a strong mage, but is that really his own desire?
