Nathaniel's Mom Versus the Nightmare

Nathaniel is a boy plagued by nightmares. However, he is unable to express to his parents what his dreams are about. Nathaniel's mother is determined to find out the truth of his dreams so that they can all get better sleep. However, when a ritual is performed to allow them to view Nathaniel's nightmare, the nightmare notices them spying. What follows is a mother's determination to rid her son of his terrors by entering his very nightmare and facing it herself. Short story.
