Wealthy, privately educated, and surrounded by his friends; what more can a 16 year old ask for? But behind autumn winds and the second hand smoke there is something far more sinister. Julian finds his perfectly orchestrated comfort turned inside-out as a new student arrives, and old stories return. There is only so much the human spirit can take. A slow burning story of love, grief, and mystery that follows observant Julian through his final years at school as his relationships with those around him are tested. Jericho Daniels, sweet and charming as he is, continuously steals the attention of people around him without even trying. With his good looks that naturally attract girls, it was no surprise that he had them swooning with only his presence around. Everyone loves and admire him. Despite the little drama unfolding at his home, he's got his best friends to bring life back to him...well that was until the new girl showed up. Winifred can't believe she's living in a mansion owned by her mother's new lover. Now she's got a new family to deal with. Not the kind of life she imagined for herself seeing as she dislikes her stepbrother and stepdad. She's not yet over her father's death and isn't ready to start over. Everything seems to be devastating with each passing day generating it's own drama with the new family and the school she's attending feeds her with nothing but trouble, adding to her suffering. Let's not forget the boy from the mansion across the street who happens to be everywhere in her head making her simultaneously question and embrace her feelings for him. New school, new family, new life ,new everything. Can she cope with all these? *** Jerry's lips seduced hers, demanding for more and she gave it to him. She parted her lips, allowing his tongue more access. He accepted the invitation without hesitating. She felt his hand gliding down to her butt and... Jerry suddenly pulled his mouth away and took his hands off her. "Damn, stop." He backed away, breathing hard. "No, we can't do this." Winifred shuddered, the ache of need nearly tearing her heart into pieces. Tears sprung to her eyes as her knees gave out and she slumped down on the armchair by the side. She just got rejected. Never in her life did she see this day coming. "Get out," she said. "I'm sorry?" "Don't be, just get out." And he did, but not after hesitating and taking a pitiful and regretful look at her.

When Willow Mayfair's life falls apart, her mother brings her to Briar Cove, the coastal town where she grew up. Living with Rebecca's childhood friend, a new world filled with love, excitement, and friendship opens up for both of them. This story is for everybody who also dreams of a fairy tale and won't care if the "knights" were a little dirty. "Grab a bunch of broken misfits, chuck them in a tribe, add some glitter and loads of weird-ass garbage, voila, you've got yourself a fairy tale... kinda... just... you know... minus the fairies..." Paisley Davenport This story is my happy place; I do not plan on ever finishing it. It will go on and on like a soapie. I might break it up into volumes later. This book is ideal for forgetting the world and becoming best friends with the characters. Please Note:- I'm currently rewriting this story to edit and enhance parts. I'm also breaking up long chapters. Though the reading flow will not be broken, the chapter numbers will become out of sync at the border between old and new. ♫ Genre: Slice of Life/Romance/Humour This is a slow-burn journey through love and life, filled with an array of beloved characters, their sad moments, happy moments and a multitude of bat-sh#t crazy moments. P.S.: This is not a fairy tale... ♫ This is a work of fiction. Any names or characters, businesses or places, events or incidents are fictitious. Any resemblance to actual persons, living or dead, or actual events is purely coincidental. TW: Please be advised that this story contains references to violence (sexual and other), drugs, anxiety, mental health issues, abuse and other possibly upsetting themes. Reader discretion is advised. I reserve all rights to my stories. Please do not copy or use my work anywhere without my permission. Thank you.
