Luz Noceda was a troublemaker for sure. The Hispanic girl always got into fights with people over stupid things. It didn't help that she was failing all her classes except Physical Education. The girl was on her way to the principal's office to find out her punishment for getting involved in another fight when something crazy happened. Luz was going to be sent to another school! Not only was this school a boarding school, but it was also Hexside the most famous school in Connecticut. Luz tries to convince her mom to opt out of it, but her mom agrees with the principal's decision.
Luz is forced to pack and leave two days before the second semester and live with her Mom's friend, Eda.
On the way, she meets a few people and a minty-haired devil standing before her eyes. She finds herself intrigued by the girl and tries to get closer to her. Will Luz find friends and adjust to her new life at Hexside? Will she get close to the minty-haired girl? Or will she drown in her self-pity? Find out.

Change - The act or instance of making or becoming different. Change in life is all Amity Blight had been wanting. Having to follow her parent's wants instead of her own. Upholding the family image and living her life for everyone but herself. When would she get the chance to choose for herself? So Luz and Amity have spent a lot of time in Amity's single recapping shows and book series together, in the beginning Luz thought it was just one of their 'friend' meetups but, Amity loved it when the brunette knocked on her door, her heart and many other places ached for the muscular, jock built nonbinary. It was no secret amongst herself that she wanted to see and memorize Luz's abs, to feel her defined chest muscles she had surgery to make flat. to recognize the peach fuzz three months of testosterone gave her.. to drown in the smoothness of her voice. Amity still had it bad, Luz however had already accepted that Amity was taken, Amity.. hated that.
