15 year old April Smith is in love with a mysterious guy named Isaac Bloom ever since she saw him in year 3. April moved from a big city in Australia to a small town in Tasmania to get a fresh start after her mother's death. April soon discovers that Isaac lives nearby and wants to take advantage of that but doesn't know how to so he does. April and Isaac grow closer but Isaac is giving her mixed signals and hasn't told her his full story. April gets a suspicious feeling about why Isaac can barley hang out or is never at school so she takes action and does some digging of her own. April knows he's familiar but doesn't know why she feels that way. What April doesn't know is that Isaac has actually known her his entire life.
