honestly ive been a but disappointed by the fanfic writers here to im trying my own hand, mostly to sooth my hunger for happy bbs but also to see if ive just been too harsh on peoples stories (i very much have been)

note!** in none of these stories does it involve 18+ subjects. there may be subtle hints between hero and mari POST time skip but thats its.

!!This fanfic has MAJOR spoilers from Omori!! Kel is entering high school again with his friends. As little time goes on, the feelings he had for Sunny when they were younger had suddenly returned. How will he deal with these feeling? Things that should be kept in mind: This takes place in the point of view of Kel (So it is 1st person POV), this is a modernized alternative of the main story, and these events are taking place after Mari's death in the real world. Warning: there's a bunch of swears, jokes, timeline mistakes, and spelling/gramatical errors. This story is mainly just me having a good time since I usually prefer making one-shots, but I love and appreciate everyone who reads and enjoys this too!

I'm discontinuing this because I'm rewriting this, since it's badly written and I just wanna add things that I can't in this version. Basically what I imagine happens after OMORI. Sunny had told everyone the truth, and now he's seen as being a murderer. Kel is the only one who believes Sunny, and has to figure out how to prove to Aubrey and Hero that Sunny is innocent. Meanwhile, Omori is alive but trapped in the place in Sunny's mind where forgotten memories go, and with each memory he sees he begins to question who he is and if he is still needed. Little does he know, Headspace is in ruin and the only way to save it is to reset it, which only Omori can do. The only problem: Only the Dreamer can bring Omori back. But will the Dreamer even want Omori to return after everything he's done? And if that isn't enough, someone from the past is returning, with only one thing on their mind: revenge. So yeah. This is the first time I've ever written anything this long, but I love OMORI and wanted to write this, because there's TOO MANY questions in the end. So please bear with me. Just so you know, I ship Suntan, so this will have Suntan in it. But even if you don't ship Suntan I hope you still read and enjoy it. One last thing: I got the idea for this after reading Omori: What Comes After by @EpsilonofExcellence so there will be some similarities, but the story is mostly mine. OMORI spoilers because obvs. I do not own OMORI or the characters. They all belong to OMOCAT. I also did not create the cover art, I have no idea who it belongs to.

This franchise completely took over my life in 2021 and so I went a tad over board with the OC creation. There's just so much you can do with how off the rails this franchise is. Theres 4 OCs in each main game and 1 or 2 in the animes and Ultra Despair Girls. I fit them into the existing story as best I could since I didn't want to structure my own fanga. I hope I did it justice. Side note: I know the games say someone has to already be attending high school to get accepted into Hopes Peak but I kinda ignored that requirement, it is fanfiction and that rule never really plays a part in the main stories so I dropped it.
