Y'all know Jacket, from Hotline Miami? Yeah, the sociopath that wears furry masks. That one.
You know how he got put in Payday 2, even though there's no possible way that both worlds could exist at the same time for reasons people who've played the games would know?
This is just a book for me to share my idea on how Jacket came to be-and how he's not really Jacket at all.

I'm not the first person to have this headcanon. As far as theories go on this topic, this is one of the most popular ones. But I can't find anyone fleshing the whole thing out, so... I'll do it myself.

The picture used on the cover isn't mine. I'm trying to figure out who made it, but nothing has a definitive credit or link to an artist's page. Once I find it I'll update this description with credit to them.

"You're different from what I expected," she said softly. "How so?" he asked, glancing at her. "I don't know," she replied, searching for the right words. "You just... have this way of making people feel like they matter. Even here, in this... nightmare." He was quiet for a moment before responding. "You matter, Y/n. Don't forget that." OR Y/n wakes up in the deadly Squid Game, surrounded by strangers and fighting to survive. What she doesn't know is that the mysterious Frontman is watching her every move through the cameras- and she's caught his attention.
