When you turn 13 you get a "Soulmate Tattoo" somewhere on your skin. This is usually defined by your Soulmates most prised possession, favourite food or something they are passionate about. When you find your Soulmate your Tattoo glows and their Initialls appear next to it. There are also People without Soulmates that just means your not destined to be with someone in particular. If your Soulmate dies your Tattoo disappears and leaves a burn mark and the Name of your Soulmate in its place...
