There's poetry in here somewhere;
Somewhere between the man the girls followed down the street,
And the taxi driver they wanted to kiss from the back seat.
Somewhere amongst the girls kissing on the screen,
And the girls sitting in the canteen,
There's a poem lively enough to break
Words out of the girl who sat awake-
Leaning out of the window thinking,
There's a poem out there somewhere,
One where it doesn't matter if I break the rhyme scheme,
Because it's better than bending words to the extreme.
