Welcome to the world of Heartstone. The new world that some of my stories are based in. Malaga and the Rogue faerie Brood" and
"The wives of the brothers Howe and their differently abled children" or "Howe's mansion for Deaf, Disabled and Destitute humans"

This world was invaded by demons who caused all the humans to go completely deaf.

The country's with high literacy rates and/or signing deaf communities fared better in switching to sign language and passing along notes. They formed resistance groups along with faeries and werewolves and were able to defeat the demons. Where as the people in countries with high rates of illiteracy and little use of sign language were more at the demons mercy.

After the war healers were able to partially restore some of their hearing. Blind people were given top priority for this. Centres to restore hearing and teach better blind skills were set up. Including one at Howe castle.

They also mass produce a little box called a speech amplifier. Based on a hearing aid that a settler from earth had. (Via parallel worlds). Tessa's hearing aids only worked for her until the batteries ran out. Sadly Tessa (who had usher syndrome) was never able to benefit from the new device which took decades to make by which time her hearing had deteriorated too much as well as her sight . Three of her children (who inherited her usher syndrome) did though. The only difference between a hearing aid and a speech amplifier is that it doesn't run on batteries. You charge it up with magic. Hard of hearing Hum (human un-magical). Just had to ask a magic user nicely or pay them.

[Completed] There's three of us. Triplets. We all have each other's backs. There's me, Maeve. The one with red eyes. People call me a murder. Satan. Evil. Anything really. All I cared about was not them. Certainly not them. Those people didn't matter to me. What mattered was my other two siblings. Everything I have ever done, was for them. Even if they don't realize it. Even if they think I was the big bad monster. To the world, I was a cold heartless monster but to my siblings? I was loving sister. I was there if one of them have a nightmare. I'm there for them. There's Damien. The oldest out of us. He's the one with white eyes. The one who people who also call Satan and evil and all of that bullshit. You ever wonder if those goddamn bullies got tired of bullying other people? I do. Not the point, stay focused Maeve. What was I saying? Oh right, Damien. He likes cars. Building, tearing them apart, spray painting them, anything about cars. Then there's Angel. Sweet, sweet Angel. She's the youngest out of the group. She has blue eyes, different from us. She's the lucky one, per say. The one who doesn't get bulled. She has the personality like a five year old but we love her to pieces. Me and Damien try to protect her against the evil's of the world. She shouldn't go through that like we did. At least she has a normal childhood, or some part of normal. We didn't have the best childhood growing up. Well, me and Damien didn't. Mother gave Angel the best childhood she ever wanted. Sometimes, only sometimes when she was drunk or whatever with her stupid boyfriend did she punish Angel. That was once every blue moon. She was convinced me and Damien had Satan in us. While Angel, well she thought that Angel was an angel from Heaven. Now, let me stop rambling. This story will be an emotional roller coaster. Especially since we get sent to live with our older half-brothers. Mentions of self-harm, abuse, rape, miscarriage, violence, cursing, suicide attempts.

TRAILER IN CHAPTER 1 #1 Memories 10/10/2019 #1 Hurt 27/09/2019 #1 Werewolf 04/07/2019 #1 Blind 09/02/2020 #1 Time 10/06/2020 There are three of them They are ruthless They are cursed They are Immortal They are the HellHounds. ****** They were a legend. A story. But all legends are based off of truth. "Don't go out after dark," My father said. "Don't go anywhere alone," My father said "Don't go deep into the woods, for that is where he waits," My father said. I never broke a rule. I was a good girl. But my question always was, what do I do when the monster comes out to play? *** I was blind, so I slowly walk forward, not knowing where he is exactly. But I use my senses. I let this connection pull into a direction. As I slowly walk ,I reach my hand out, "Where are you?" I asked quietly. A big and calloused hand touches my own. From that one touch, electric shocks courses through my body, a strange and warming sensation. I flinched and gasped in fright. The big and strong hand gently grabs mine and softly pulls me forward. A breath hits my face slightly. I was right in front of him. He leans down toward my ear, his lips almost touching it. His breath makes chills run over my neck as he whispers very quietly with a deep and rough voice, "Here I am." *** If you want this book to make sense to you, I would suggest you read Book 2 of my Blood Moon Pack series, it completed and ready to read. You can still read this as stand alone, however there is more information held in Book 2.
Human Status by DanickaCastro
1 part Complete
I live in a world where I am nameless. I live in a world where I do not matter except or unless I am owned by someone. I do not have rights, freedoms, joys, wishes, or aspirations. I am property. I was born and raised to belong to someone that will one day take me away like the fairy tale stories that I listened to everyday in the house I live in. I prayed every night that a handsome prince would come and take me to live in his castle just like in the books. I prayed that I would be a princess and have a kingdom just like in the books. But I was never told that the books were all lies. I was never told the true reason why I was a well sought after commodity. I was never told that I am not the only one like me. When I found out it was too late to save myself. To think and in less than 4 days I will be taken away from my current home and be in a home of my own. I sat on the simple wooden bed hoping that my owner was nice and kind. I hated to think about some of the stories that I heard about the other girls like me. I hated thinking about being exterminated because I made my owner unhappy. I thought to myself that I would try real hard to keep him happy. I remember the covenant of rules that would keep me and my owner happy. I would need to follow five rules. 1. Always obey my owner. 2. Always be available to my owner. 3. Never talk back. 4. Always agree with my owner. 5. I am not human so I cannot do human things. I wondered how pretty human women were. I was so nervous about my departure I nearly refused to leave my room. I could leave if there wasn’t anything wrong with me physically. I remember the den mother telling me not to do anything that would cause a refund or else I would be exterminated upon refund. My new owner had thirty days to return me. If he returned me and no one else was interested I would be exterminated. I would be killed because it would be thought that I was defective and no one would want a defective product.

She lead a rather tragic life. The black sheep of her family due to her lack of affinity for fire. Her affinity was quite the opposite. Water in fact. Already in a time when women did not really have much political power or rights, she was outcasted by her family despite being of nobility. Still allowed to live in the distant west wing of the massive Grand Duke's manor, she has never eaten a single meal with her family nor extended family, and has spent her loneliness in her books and sword lessons. Although only taught by the head butler and one of the low ranked knights of the family, she was quite bright and if her family would have given her a chance she would have done great things. If only she didn't die at such a young age. Married off to some "hero" of sort that had slayed the Dragon of the North who was terrorizing the land and threatened the kingdom, this hero also had an affinity for fire and held her in disdain like the rest of her family. Suddenly a girl of another world was transported to their world, picked up by this hero and put into his secure care. The pair soon fell for each other despite the hero's marriage, and many believed Laraine got jealous of this girl of mystery, and tried to kill her. This was definitely not true. But because the girl was favored by the temple and kingdom Laraine was quickly arrested and put on trial. You can probably tell what happened to Laraine. But something strange happened the day of her execution. As soon as her decapitated head hit the ground the sky turned blood red and it began to rain fire. No one survived that day. But for some reason time went back, and Laraine was back to being a child, but with no memory of her future. There were select few in her life, however, that remembered her tragedy and now perhaps will take action to prevent it. NOTE: I'M AWARE THERE ARE A LOT OF INCONSISTENCIES. IT WILL BE EDITED SOME DAY BUT RIGHT NOW I'M JUST TRYING TO FINISH IT.

*Book 3 of Reuniting The Council Series* Maya once was a slave to rogues, all her life in fact. But one day that all changed. The day that Crystal showed up, taking Maya away from her horrible life. Crystal takes Maya on a journey, keeping who she really was a secret. And keeping on the move the whole time a secret also. Little taste of the book :)~~~Walking down several halls, I finally come to the metal door of the dungeons. Walking through, power flows off of me in waves of bone chilling darkness, all of those pathetic little prisoners cower away back into the corners of their cells like smart little rats, except two. "I will never bow to you ever again!" Yells Maya. "Neither will I!" Shouts Crystal Chuckling, "Well sooner or later, little heirs. You will bow to me. It may not be today, possibly not even tomorrow, but you never know. My methods are extremely effective. Especially when it comes to such...breakable little participants. I'm sure you'll both be more than willing." I give them a toothy grin, oh how I can't wait to hear their screams, the cracking of their bones, the dripping of their blood as they submit and remember who is truly in charge of this world. Of them. "I WILL NEVER BOW TO YOU! YOU SICK BASTARD! LOOK WHAT YOU DID TO YOUR OWN BROTHER! HE'S ON HIS DEATHBED! RIGHT AS WE SPEAK! WE'VE ESCAPED YOUR MEN AND WE CAN DO IT AGAIN!" Crystal full on screams out at me, close to tearing her throat raw from shouts.~~~ What is Crystal keeping a secret? But the real question is, who is Maya? She has no last name, so who is her family? Where will their adventures take them? You never know until the end. Don't be surprised if their comes a twist plot! :D This series will go between different super naturals views. Through there journeys until the last book which, I wont uncover until later on.
