Cooper, a wildly talented guitarist who plays in a band is everything she should stay away from with his tattoos, piercings, long bleached hair and that smile of his. But she quickly learns Cooper is a lot more than he appears on the outside. He is an aspiring singer-songwriter whose is struggling to break from his band and produce his own original music. Avery finds a way for them to work together in the upcoming fall showcase where she needs to stand out in her solo and he can break in to getting his songs out there for the world to hear.
