"Hey May, sorry for taking a bit to answer. I, um, have some very unexpected guests."
"It's all good. What do you mean by unexpected guests? Did your family drop by or something?"
"I wish. Honestly you're not going to believe me who it is."
"Pft. Just spill the beans, you know I can handle anything weird you say."
"You know those shows, usually an anime, or movies when a normal person gets sent to a fantasy world and has to figure out how to survive while also trying to find out how to get home, that's if they want to? Well, um, I'm currently experiencing the reverse..."
"That still doesn't-"
"My guests are Tang Sanzang, Sun Wukong, Zhu Bajie, Sha Wujing and Bai Long Ma."
After finding four men and a horse outside of your house you have to figure out how they got to this world and how to get them back to their world. It shouldn't be that difficult... It would if it wasn't for the fact that the men weren't the characters from a classic Chinese story Journey to the West.
(This'll loosely follow JttW and some of the Monkey King media that's spawned from it so sorry in advance if I get things wrong. A cross post from AO3. Also the cover is from a drawing of mine.)

Macaque's Successor
The reader is MK's non-identical twin sister. When Pigsy both sent the two out for noodle deliveries, MK went to deliver his stack of noodles, while you did your deliveries, and while you did your deliveries, you found a staff, for a second, you thought it was Monkey King's staff, but it was black highlighted with gold. Without thinking, you picked it up and felt a surge of power through you, and that's when you met Macaque. He looked almost like Monkey King, but with black fur. He saw the staff in your hands and explained to you that only he could pick it up, but when he saw you holding it, he decided to take you under his wing, and make you his successor. So from that point, you trained to be a warrior and fought demons along with your brother. A/n-The reader has the exact same powers Macaque has, like aquatic breathing, enhanced hearing, Shadow Manipulation, Shadow Cloning, Shadow Monkeys, Shadow Transportation, Shadow Hiding, Smoke Generation, and shape-shifting. (And when it gets to season 3, maybe Lady Bone Demon Powers)Tamamlanmış Hikaye

Due to a mistake from a powerful being, Reader is sent into a messed up reality of Journey To The West several years before the story even starts. Unable to return home, you try to find a way while making a few friends along the way. However, you never expected to run into Sun Wukong and The Six Eared Macaque, The Warlords and Kings of Flower Fruit Mountain, who are cursed into being small monkey cubs. All I Did Was Fall Into a River(JIELING)(LICHEN)(LONGWUDI)
I fell into a river. Mid-scene. Mid-line. Mid-emotional breakdown-fictional, mind you. And suddenly, I'm in a hospital, unconscious, and the whole internet thinks I tried to off myself because of a secret breakup. With a co-star. Who I'm not dating. And who absolutely didn't deserve the hate storm blowing up her socials. Seriously? All I wanted was to feel the drama for my new script. Not become the drama. But now I'm the trending tragedy. She's the villain. My company's sweating. And I can't even move a finger to clear it up. So yeah. If I ever wake up, someone's going to get the real story. Spoiler: It starts with a sword fight, ends with a splash, and has nothing to do with heartbreak. *Ji Ling | Li Jie *Li Lun | Zhuo Yichen *Long Shen | Yuan Wu Di "Dreamer's Note:" This story explores a little too much about what happens behind the curated smiles- the pressure of the spotlight, the weight of public perception, the echo chamber of toxic fans, and the unspoken bruises the entertainment world leaves behind. I haven't lived that world, but I've seen enough of the internet to know what it does to people. If that's something you're sensitive to, please read with care. There's love here-eventually. Maybe quietly. Maybe when it's least expected. It's humour oriented. Still. But no hard feelings if this isn't the story for you. (And no, this isn't an apology. Just a polite heads-up, before the fiction begins.)![The Golden Cicada [MONKIE KID COMPILED VERSION]](https://img.wattpad.com/cover/372421472-256-k164322.jpg)
