"I'm going to marry rimuru!" milim said as the rest of the women, and even some men, ran off. Rimuru sighs deeply at the sight. He can believe that the bickering progressed this far, no shame really.
post war, rimuru was living his life happily and freely after becoming a God. he was enjoying his day when all of a sudden, the girl's started bickering about who would be the one to marry him. not that it mattered to him, he only ever saw them as friends that he treasured the most than a romantic partner. to stop this commotion, benimaru suggested that they should host a ball to see who their master would pick. Rimuru thought this was a waste of time but agreed anyways for the sake that this would all stop. Little did he know of the new adventures he was about to encounter.

Rimuru was taking a break after the entire orc invasion incident and decided to take a stroll through the forest. While walking along he runs into a monster that was run out of their home by the orcs and lost their entire family to the attack. With nowhere to call home and no family to go back to, Rimuru accepts the monster into the new and growing town as his adopted daughter. The story will follow the main story beats of the light novel, but events will be changed due to a close bond forming between Rimuru and the new monster. The bond will be explored along with the world around the two of them, giving more depth to the characters and allowing them to move outside of the main story's narrative. This is my first time writing something like this so I apologies if there are any glaring issues you may notice. With that said if you see something that could use improving, I invite you to drop a comment and let me know about it so the story can be improved for everyone. The Mature rating is mostly just to cover my bases as I don't know where things will go as the story progresses.
