And Harry did survive, continuing to grow like all vampires do waiting until he turned sixteen and gained control of his physical age, like other vampires. But when he turned eleven he ran across some aurors in the woods and soon rumours started to spread that the young potter wasn't dead. That maybe his younger brother Damien wasn't the chosen one after all, Voldemort was certainly interested.
