The Fallen Officer's Son

Carson Walker, 18 year old high school senior that lost his father at the age of 2 during the 9/11 attacks in New York since he was one of the many officers that had gone to help rescue the victims of the fallen towers. One moment the toddler was being dropped off at daycare by his beloved father and and next he was being sent to live with his mother and her abusive boyfriend three months later. His father's wife, Alexa Walker, has tried to get him back but the courts have ignored her pleas and awarded his custody to his mother. Now he lives in fear at the hands of his mother and her boyfriend.

Dolan Pearson, 18 year old, senior that has it all. The perfect family with supportive parents and siblings. He recently moves to a new state after his father gets transferred and begins school at Glenwood High in New York where he's soon swarmed by girls and guys asking him to join the school sports' team. Since he played soccer at his former school, he joins the soccer team where he quickly becomes the new captain. One day his way to history class he stumbles upon a scene that made his blood boil. He watched as his teammates beat up a boy who whimpered and cowered under their kicks. He stops the abuse and threatens his teammates with getting them kicked out of the team for what they did before helping the injured boy to the nurse's office.

Days later Dolan learns who the boy was when he sees him sitting in the back of the class and was paired up with him for a school project. Will Dolan help the broken boy or will Carson let the pain win?
