Cora Steele is a girl with talents to die for. 

Drew Bates is a guy with talents he would die to get rid of.

They're polar opposites and hate each other from the moment they first speak.

He wants all the attention and she attracts it.

But over time they see that they're not so different after all, and maybe they could learn to like each other.

Cora was a happy, talented girl until her parents died. Now it's two years later and she has to go to a school for the talents she hates to love. 

She knows its the right thing to do, but can she handle all the pain and pressure her talents bring? 

Along with the struggles of starting at a new school, Cora must face the reality of her parents death when she begins to receive threatening letters.

 Can she figure out who's behind the threats, and maybe even her parents deaths?

She's allowed two screw ups, has to join a sports team, pass all of her classes with at least a C and get some friends before the year is over, or she will be held back. And she's not about to go another year in the hellhole called high school.
