But then, one rainy evening, he walked through the front doors of Port Mafia headquarters, soaked to the bone, wrapped in silence. He didn't offer an explanation. Just a half-smile and the same calculating eyes he'd always worn. "I'm home," he said, voice light but empty. Mori accepted him without question, as if he'd been expecting it. No punishment, no interrogation. Dazai knelt, bowed his head, and was reinstated like nothing had changed-yet everything had. The younger members watched him warily, unsure whether to fear or follow. Chuuya stormed in hours later, demanding answers, but Dazai only smirked. "Just tying up loose ends," he said cryptically. Back in black, he moved through the halls like a ghost reclaiming his haunt. Old loyalties cracked. New suspicions bloomed. No one knew his true reason for coming back-whether it was revenge, guilt, or some unfathomable plan brewing behind those dark eyes. But one thing was certain: Dazai Osamu had returned to the Port Mafia. And nothing would ever be the same.
