Orchestrated Silence

When Izuku's quirk comes in, he expects it to be heat and sparks like Kacchans, or maybe he'll suddenly show up to school with cool red wings like Tsubasa-kun. He expects to be finally able to play with Kacchan on the playground. He expects that he'll be the best hero. The next Number One Hero! The next All Might!

He doesn't expect to be pulled out of school so that he can learn how to adjust to his new quirk. He doesn't expect Kacchan to start singing his shirts when Izuku refuses to speak to him (Kacchan never notices how Izuku just. Stopped. Talking). He doesn't expect to have scars across his cheeks and nose from a muzzle.

He certainly doesn't expect for his quirk to come with the order of, "Speech is prohibited."
