Sans, a lazy short skeleton is a victim, along with the entirety of his home and family to a human named Frisk and their friend Chara. After the thousands of times that Frisk has murdered the entire Underground, Sans didn't even know why he kept fighting. It was like he was some type of mindless NPC. However, one day was different. Even in the slightest change, Sans found an opportunity to strike, and finally kill Frisk.
However, that was all false hope. Frisk was transported to another world, meeting someone who looked oddly similar to Sans, however, he had a dark shape to him, and black goo surrounded his body. He easily overpowered them, yet, he offered something. That's when Frisk knew, this was the start of an entirely new story. A new timeline.

Then many long years later they meet the beloved Frisk, who fell into the Underground, similar to themselves. Undertale; Consequences of your actions.
Chara. The demon that comes when people call it's name. The title given to her by everyone that blamed her for the genocides. For what Frisk did just because they wanted to see what would happen. Because they refused to own up to their actions, and instead blamed the only person who could realistically be blamed. Chara. The human, who, despite her flaws, still tried to be a good person. She was forced into this endless cycle of murder and animosity against her will. She never wanted any part in this. Frisk, blaming Chara for their own atrocities, believes her to finally have given up. They think they are above consequences because its a game to them, that they will always win... Soon they will learn that they can't run away from them forever. Soon, the darkest pit of hell will open and swallow them whole. -All characters in this story are NOT mine except for one, she is my character. And she is not, I repeat, NOT a self insert. She is meant to be a dark mirror of Chara in a lot of ways, but similar to her in many more aspects. The others belong to Toby fox, the original owner of Undertale, as well as to Temmie Chang(hope I spelled it right.) This exists because I feel like too many people blamed Chara for our own actions. Because that was easier than to admit that genocide was a path that we chose of our own volition. This was especially true in the earlier years of the fandom, and is still true even today-to an extent. Due to that, and my combined love of the character, I just knew it was worth writing a happy ending for them, or in this story as I interpret Chara to be female.
