Chloe and Alexis are twin demon hunters. It started when they were eight, when their father was killed by a demon. Their mother taught them how to hunt but she only got nine years to do so. They move around with their friend, Whitley, and her brother Leon, who is a soul eater. 
They all go on a hunt together to a nest of demons when Alexis is shot. They can't do anything because it is too severe and Alexis dies in the arms of her friends. Chloe and Leon try to bring her back by going to the Underworld.
