Reon De Castro lives an enduring mundane life as a senior high school student. Yes, he does well in school and has friends to rely on, but he still seeks to change his ever-so-dull daily routine in hopes of a refresh. It wasn't as easy as he hoped it would be as his days continued to be uneventful, until that extraordinary day changed everything-an encounter with an accident put his life at stake as a mysterious artifact entered and unified with his body.

As Reon feels confused by the beginning of turned events, another danger lies ahead as he meets an Inquisitor named Astraea Azure, who reveals the true appearance of the world and proclaims that Reon is the reason for people's demise and is the undeniable threat of humanity.
