This story is a sequel to a Dungeons & Dragons campaign the author played. The original intention was for this work to be read by friends or other associates who already had a basic understanding of the events that transpired. However, care has been taken nonetheless to introduce important plot elements from the prequel, for the fresh eyes who are curious about this story.

SYNOPSIS:
Almost 50 years after the fall of Anserem and the regime of the Bright Lady, things have finally settled down in Clarumbra. Matthias is working dutifully as the Arbiter, Roone is happily living out her days with her family, and Ivan is continuing his research and professorship at the University of Clarumbra. But Shem is no longer in Clarumbra - having chosen to leave his homeland to marry his beloved, he now lives in Aquinea, spending his days peacefully with his wife and son, and writing a historical account of Clarumbra in the time of the Bright Lady's regime. But little does he know, a fateful encounter with a young tiefling girl on the streets is about to place him back on the path of his warrior days.
