Have you ever wondered, if maybe the gods aren't what they seem? That maybe the God of the Underworld, is not really a god?
Haidee is the Goddess of Death, and she is getting tired of the work she has to do. She hasn't gotten a break in over 1000 years! So she decides to go to Earth with her brothers Poseidon and Zeus and live her life as a mortal for a while, finding love with a mortal called Persephone. Soon though, a dark evil will be released, one that even the gods of old feared. Throw in an ex girl friend and an overbearing player brother, things become difficult for even the Goddess of the Underworld.
Will the strain of a mortal life and a rising evil be too much for Haidee? Or will the love she finds in her family and Persephone be enough to combat the sinister forces at work?

Jolene and Jupiter were born into a family of Demi-Gods. The girls are very special because when twins are born they acquire powers of a God or Goddess at the age of 21. They will develop these powers one at a time. The family tree stretches back until the beginning of time. When a God had a baby with a human. DIVINE - A Persephone And Hades Retelling
"I've told you, Hades, I can not become your mistress." she sadly told him. She had always lived in her mother's shadow, and if she followed Hades, she would once again be living in another's shadow. Even though she loved him, she did not think she could stomach it. "I do not want you to be my mistress, Persephone, I want you to be my queen," he confessed to her. She snapped her head up to meet his eyes, searching for any sign he wanted to take his words back, but there was no remorse. And just like that, she fell ever so slightly more in love with him. "Your queen?" she asked, she had to be sure. Strangely the word had slid off her tongue gracefully as if it had belonged there. "Yes, become my queen," he told her once again, taking back the step she had taken. "Rule besides me as the goddess of spring and the Underworld." The Tale of Hades & Persephone
This is a rewrite of my previous fan fiction "Tales of Hades and Persephone" as well as some inspiration from the original myth (and perhaps other retellings I enjoy). Hades has been alone for far too long. One day he pays a visit to Zeus and requests to marry Persephone. The King of the Gods agrees and even recommends Hades kidnap Persephone, since it's unlikely Demeter will agree to the marriage. Persephone is a young Goddess of Earth curious about the world of the mortals. She's always helping her mother Demeter, but one day while watching the mortals she wanders off only to fun into a handsome stranger. After a brief conversation, Persephone finds herself swept away to the Underworld. Will Hades manage to get Persephone to fall in love with him? Hades and Persephone {UNDER MAJOR EDITING}
When the Goddess of Spring had successfully escaped the Underworld, The King of the Dead was determined on finding her. In order for her to start a new life, Persephone changed her looks and created a mortal name; Jade Collins. Expecting she'd be far away from the King of the Underworld, she then met a gentleman with a miserable past of his fiancéé leaving him. His name you ask, Nicholas Barnes; Hades' mortal name. And so when fate gets twisted and undeniably confusing, the Goddess of Spring and the King of the Underworld were clueless about each other's real personality. Persephone has already been kidnapped by Hades, her unwanted and unexpected suitor. Demeter has already cast a famine on all the humans in her grief. The City Of Mortals.
In case you're bored... Just read this for a second. Have you ever heard of the Greek myth of Persephone? If not, don't worry - that doesn't make you uncool. It's just one of those stories people rarely talk about. The myth goes like this: Persephone, daughter of Demeter, was picking flowers when Hades - King of the Underworld - abducted her and took her into his realm. Her mother, Demeter, goddess of harvest and spring, became so devastated that the earth itself grew cold. Crops died. Snow fell endlessly. Humans began to starve. So eventually, a deal was made. Persephone would spend half the year with her mother and the other half in the Underworld beside Hades. And that's how the Greeks explained the seasons: When Persephone returns, the world blooms. When she leaves, winter comes. But honestly? I kept thinking about Persephone herself. What did she feel after being taken? How did it feel to have her fate decided by gods who never asked what she wanted? Did she ever dream of escaping? Of being free from both Hades... and destiny itself? So I picked up my pen and asked myself: What if Persephone ran away? And that question became this story. But there's a twist. She doesn't just escape the Underworld. She escapes into the human world. And she doesn't come alone. With her are two souls Hades kept chained for years - souls who should never have returned to life. Now the gods are searching for her. To Hades, she is something he refuses to lose. To Demeter, she is still Kore - the gentle daughter meant to follow the path fate wrote for her. But Persephone wants her own story.
