Exploration of the myth of rusalki, a variation of a mermaid. Many creatures in female mythology were often misunderstood and simplified as evil for convenience. Rusalki have often had a traumatizing death near water, murdered or otherwise hurt. They were reborn as mermaids, seeking to avenge the injustice they suffered onto men.

Unprocessed trauma can make us toxic and drag other people into the depths of our stormy waters. This is a story about healing, transformation, and empowerment.
