It was just another day in Death City. DWMA was up and about living life to the fullest. Maka's team was yet again assigned a special mission by no one other than Dr. Stein. HOWEVER, Soul has pulled away from Maka and was being controlled by a Kishin. The continuous one-sided battle forced the rest of the meisters to retreat. While Lord Death, Spirit, and Stein tried to find a way to locate Soul, the team had to control Maka's reckless behavior of the weaponless meister. Soul Eater: Academy Criminal Investigative Bureau
Death Weapon Meister Academy, commonly referred to as the DWMA. It's not your typical school, as it's seen as the last line of defense to prevent the demons known as Kishin from plunging humanity into chaos. Within the DWMA, there lies a certain part that not only keeps humanity safe, but also keeps Meisters and Weapons in check. For one DWMA student, this has been personal. Meet Joseph Reagan, a Meister who watched his Weapon get murdered by another Meister, and the one responsible got away with it. Because of this miscarriage of justice, Lord Death had assigned Joseph to the, what other students call the "rat squad," Academy Criminal Investigative Bureau. Joseph immediately accepted, vowing to avenge not only his Weapon, but also other Meisters and Weapons that had been murdered. Sure enough, Joseph had THRIVED in this new setting. However, he still had the problem of not having a Weapon. So, he simply took up martial arts and defended himself that way, much to the surprise of Lord Death. Even the most skilled of fighters, which included Death the Kid, had been beaten by him. Now, he faces taking on the task of bringing criminal Meisters and Weapons to justice alone, as the other members had retired due to graduating. This is Joseph's story, and how he cemented himself as the DWMA's Top Enforcer.
