This is that, but to a bigger extreme, and instead of dialing the wrong phone number, Wilbur enters the wrong reality!

Or

Wilbur Soot decides he's capable of sympathy and trys to revive Ghostbur with him, therefore breaking reality and glitching into one where he existed like four hundred to six hundred years before, so now everyone is confused as to how a historical figure has came to the future but the historical figure knows things, has things, and can do things people in this reality can't/don't(aka Minecraft inventory, heath bar, etc).

This is a completely platonic, possibly a found family, book, this trio shall not be shipped, if that's whatcha want then scram.

He wanted to be seen for who he was. He was Wilbur goddamn Minecraft, and he refused to let himself be a side note in someone else's story. Villains had one right; the right to choose a nemesis. A thesis to their anti-thesis. A rival. His subordinates always questioned why he chose Magpie. He never bothered to explain. He had met the hero once, and that was all it took. The eldest of the Minecraft children was so much more than anyone realized. There was a deep running fury hidden under his mask. The hero was fast approaching his breaking point. That, is why Quackity chose him. Wilbur Minecraft was going to fall soon, and he was going to fall hard. And Quackity would be right there waiting, ready to catch his songbird when he did.
