DISCONTINUED!!! ---------------------- What if Solas couldn't stay as cool and collected as he wanted to? "What is the old Dalish curse? 'May the Dread Wolf take you?'" "And so he did." ---------------- Disclaimer: This is a fanfiction about the protagonist and Solas from the popular fantasy RPG Dragon Age: Inquisition, so all credit to Bioware where it is due. It is also heavy in SPOILERS for both the main storyline and the Trespasser DLC. For the purpose of this fanfiction, my canon Inquisitor Vala Lavellan will be courting our beloved Dread Wolf. All of the screenshots are also mine. Their story will begin after the mission In Your Heart Shall Burn, and much of the dialogue and content is taken directly from the game. I'm also open to feedback as this is my first ever publication! To all my fellow Solasmancers burning in Solavellan Hell... I feel your pain. I can't wait for the reunion in Dragon Age: The Veilguard!Terminé
Demon Spirit Solas Cole
What if Solas never slept in Uthenera.... what if he just hid in his Glen and only came out to wander the world and help those he deemed "worthy" of his "services".... what if spirits could love as humans do.... just not while they are in the Fade.... Melava Sulevan is who people call the Gypsy Elf.... her clan was taken by slavers when she was a child many were sold some were killed and only she escaped.... from then on she was moved from clan to clan but spent most of her time out of the camps.... even though she was Dalish she wasn't very fond of the Dalish was.... their beliefs, how they treated outsiders.... when she was 4..... that is when her clan was being sold off..... she met two wolves who took care of her along her journey from one clan to the next..... they never entered the camps though.... those wolves belonged to Solas.... she named them Fen (who is all white with one blue and one green eye) and Harel (who is all black with one grey and one red eye)..... Solas watched her through their eyes as she grew into a beautiful powerful mage.... the two wolves were considered her protectors by the clans since they were always seen only with her.... her last clan is Keeper Hawen's clan.... when she was of age he asked her who's Vallaslin she wished to wear and with a serious face but teasing tone she told him "the dread wolf's"..... So she grew up the only elf without a Vallaslin till she joined the Inquisition and met Solas.... but fell in love with the spirit Cole/CompassionTerminé![Honey and Ink [Dragon Age: Inquisition]](https://img.wattpad.com/cover/262201283-256-k227949.jpg)
Honey and Ink [Dragon Age: Inquisition]
"Humour me." "But what about you? Don't you need luck too?" Lyric asked, protest forming a small crack in her voice. "I don't know what you'll face before the end," Cullen insisted, his face drawing nearer hers until their foreheads were touching. Her hand was palm-up in his, then, the dark leather of his glove and the moonlight's ivory flush making her fingers look impossibly pale. He placed the lucky coin there, closing her fist around it. "Just humour me." ---- Slow burn romance between Cullen and my femme Lavellan, Lyric. The story is mostly made up of moments between characters, skipping some of the action we are familiar with. Spans the events of Dragon Age: Inquisition, base game only. - 18+ only - Disclaimers: - Content/trigger warnings for minor character injury, blood/gore, and sexual content. - This is a a slow burn, but it is a romance nonetheless. *Not* smut; there are also character pieces for my Inquisitor and some others that are not related to the romance, but it's all part of Lyric's story. - There are time jumps, and some slight canon divergence/original elements, but nothing that impacts the integrity of the story in a major way. - I have only played Inquisition and all associated expansions, but not the earlier games. - This is my interpretation of the story- I take some liberties with minor variations and some situations of my own. - My lore is not perfect, but I'm trying! Feel free to gently correct me if I get something wrong! - All art (including the cover) is my original art! - If you know me, no you don't.Terminé
La Var Sulahn'nehn (Dragon Age: Veilguard Ending ft. Solas x Lavellan)
"I will go and seek atonement." The words tumbled from Solas' lips, and he turned away slowly from Rook and Morrigan, away from where Ellana Lavellan stood hidden in the shadows of the doorway, watching and waiting. And then she was running to him, saying the words that she had thought of for so long but had never had the chance to articulate - until now: "Banal nadas, ar lath ma, vhenan." A/N: VEILGUARD SPOILERS AHEAD. Something quick I did up after playing Veilguard as I wanted greater resolution for some stuff. Also, fluff and glorious, explicit Solavellan smut (part 4). Slight headcanon that Mythal spoke to Solas before Lavellan did.Terminé
It Takes a Wolf
Ellenwen Lavellan, the Inquisitor, the Herald of Andraste. However, impressive titles granted by displays of power did not matter, for the pain that had found its way into her heart did not discriminate, but consume. Three years had passed since the truth had come to light, a truth that has sent her into a spiraling state of heartache. She feared she'd never recover until she met someone whose suffering matched her own. Delve into a magical world that sends Ellenwen and Fenris in adventures that not only test their limits both physically and emotionally, but open their minds to strengths and acceptances they never knew possible. Join the well known and loved merry band of misfits as hilarity and mayhem ensues on an action filled journey of epic-proportions. **Bioware owns the world and their characters** **I own the story and events as well as the characters not associated with the game** **There are two chapters that have extreme explicit content that may be offensive to some readers, I will be placing an asterisk in the beginning of those chapter titles.** Cover art by: LostConnertumbler.comTerminé
The Wolf's Heart
The Veilguard and their allies, including the recently freed Dread Wolf, launch a last-ditch effort to stop Elgar'nan. A secret slips and now the Inquisitor's life hangs in the balance. Will Solas save her, or is this an inevitable tragedy thousands of years in the making?Terminé
May The Dread Wolf Take You
Lavellan doubted that anything could surprise her anymore after all the hell she'd been through since she stumbled onto Corypheus' plot. She never expected that Solas would be the one to disprove her doubt and astonish her. Laying the heavy burden of a game changing secret on her and leaving her with a monstrous decision to make about their relationship, Solas tries to explain himself and earn back Lavellan's trust. Her choice may leave them both changed forever.Terminé
What Comes After (Dragon Age: The Veilguard Solas x Lavellan)
The world has done Solas a disservice, demanding so much from one man who has given up everything of himself to save a world that still demands and takes, and takes and takes and takes until he is left with nothing in the end but a shell of himself and a life full of regrets. "Why?" And yet, he still questions what Ellana Lavellan so freely gives. A (slightly) slower burn version of the Solavellan reunion at the end of Veilguard. A/N: My headcanon is that Lavellan knows (somewhat, the gist of it anyway) about his memories and the things he's done. It feels too much like a bait-and-switch to me if he only reveals it all after she's joined him in the Fade prison, and that she's been misled and lied to. That doesn't sit quite right with me for a happy Solavellan ending especially since she's basically pledged her entire life to him (of course, if it's a dysfunctional Solavellan ending then that works well!)Terminé
