Aurora Salvacion always hated the idea of moving out. She knew she could never be too attached because she was always the first to leave. Her parents were always away for traveling or work, with nothing in between. Aurora had to move out once again for college. Amidst packing her belongings, she stumbled upon some of her parents' old pictures that depicted a story about how her mother struggled before finding the love of her life.

The Accused Mistress

(Delilah Series # 2) "Is it true that you were your own stepfather's mistress?" I look at the few people who are seated inside the trial court. "N-No... No... That is not true... " namamaos kong paninindigan. Halos maubusan na ng lakas. I could not feel the witness chair where I'm sitting on anymore. "Do you have anymore questions, Mr. Attorney?" mahinahong tanong ng judge. "None, Your Honor," biglang namaos ang boses niya. "No more questions for this cross examination." I looked at the face of my mother's criminal defense attorney. The very face of Attorney Lake Jacobe Mendez.
