After being scorned by her village, Izumi is sent to Konoha where she is taken care of by her maternal family. Where you have to prove you're strong enough to be there and to be called a hyuga.
Even though she is not in her hometown, she will have a position waiting for her and even if she is not the successor, she will be able to inherit it, if she has enough power to do so.
It won't be easy at all, since she will have her 2 twin cousins, Keiko the oldest and Yuri the youngest, whose parents are Neji and Tenten. None of the cousins will relinquish their spot as there will only be one winner.
In addition, izumi will have to deal with her colleagues at the academy who exclude her for having red hair and white eyes.
