After joining the gang in season 2, Varian returns to Corona. The recent events in the Dark Kingdom have left him exhausted, physically and mentally. But more challenges await our favorite alchemist... Will he discover why he has a strange connection to the Moon Stone? Can he manage to get through to Cass, or will his efforts only attract unwanted attention from an ancient evil that seems to have been pulling the strings all along?
Similar to the first book, this one basically reads as a novelization of the third season, while adding my own changes and including Varian in every episode.

Couple of disclaimers, uh, everyone except Altair, Mia and the other characters in this story that you aren't familiar with if you've watched the show belong to Tangled: The Series. Basically, it's a really, really good spin-off of Rapunzel's time in Corona between Tangled, and Tangled Ever After. It involves plot-twists and astounding character development and a tremendous amount of heartache for a kid's show. Selina and I highly recommend it. Altair belongs to the amazing Tumblr user and artist @shima-draws. Selina asks of you to check her out, she's a-mazing. Every other character mentioned in this story belongs to Selina. (This is my own spin off of the Tangled series and has no connection to any plot points. I know I used Moon!Varian as the cover but neither the moonstone or sunflower are involved in this.) Also Cassandra took the moonstone, BUT Rapunzel convinced her to put it back, but none of that is really described until later. There are a lot of Varian abuse fics but there aren't enough with OMORASHI IN THEM LETS GO VARIAN PISSFIC(nonsexual, basically omocute) This is on ao3 too but this is the edited version so its a lot better the other one was basically I wrote it and then published it without doing any reading over ‼️‼️‼️‼️⚠️ PLEASE READ THE TAGS im sick of people acting surprised and saying the book is "bad" or "inappropriate " ya'll, it does have very intense elements and i'll agree that its not appropriate for younger audiences because of some some rape and abuse scenes but it's for the plot and trauma!
