In this story, a group of scientists led by Dr. Rachel Stevens are tasked with saving the life of a man who has survived a devastating explosion. In order to save him, they must perform a risky and experimental procedure that involves rearranging his internal organs. However, the procedure has unintended consequences, and the man is transformed into a powerful and resilient elephant-like creature. As Dr. Stevens continues to experiment on other people, she creates a host of extraordinary beings with powers and abilities beyond imagination. But as she struggles to control her creations and use their powers for good, she realizes that the true cost of her scientific transformation may be greater than she ever could have imagined.
