Lilli and Ben grew up training as Master Luke's most gifted Padawans. One day, Lilli starts having nightmares about a strangely familiar man who wears a voice distorting helmet and wields a red cross-guard lightsaber. She never expected these dreams to become her reality.

After Ben has destroyed the Jedi Temple and killed anyone who got in his way, a devastated Luke takes Lilli with him to Ahch-To, where he completes her training and then tells her to hide out on Jakku, where he found her as a toddler, after feeling a strong pull in the force many years ago.

Heartbroken, Lilli leaves Ahch-To and her life as a Jedi behind her with strict instructions 'Do not tell anyone that you know where I am'. After selling her and Luke's lightsabers she becomes a scavenger for the vile Unkar and slowly but surely comes to terms with the fact that Ben was never coming back.

Two years later, Kylo Ren has been tasked by Supreme Leader Snoke to snuff out any remnants of the Jedi and to do that he must find his old Master, Luke Skywalker. He forces down any feelings and memories he has left of Lilli and reminds himself that it's a good thing he killed her because she would only serve as a weakness.

Resistance Pilot, Poe Dameron has acquired the last piece of a map leading to Skywalker. Just before his capture, he gives the piece of the map to his trusted droid BB- 8 and sets it off into the Jakku night.

Lilli saves BB- 8 from a Teedo Scavenger, not knowing it's importance. Upon finding out she knows she has to do everything in her power to prevent the droids capture and embarks on a journey with an ex- Storm Trooper to return it to the Resistance.

Unfortunately, Lilli runs into some trouble when it's revealed to the First Order and the Resistance that she knows of Luke's whereabouts and that she's still alive...
