Percy Jackson completely breaks down when Annabeth dumps him for some buff dude from the Ares cabin whose name he doesn't want to mention. Yeah. He's that upset. Luckily for him, Nico di Angelo (very romantically)helps him through his heartbreak and things are finally looking up for Percy. Well, not for long!
  The two unfortunately die for reasons you will find out in the book, when they meet Chaos, creator of the universe. Next, Chaos decides he likes them so much he adopts them and makes them commanders of his army! Hooray! In the process of commandering for 10 thousand years or so, the two develop some very healthy crushes, and to us fangirls' delight, get together as a couple!
  The Fates aren't on their side, though. Chaos gets called to Olympus to clean up the gods' little mess. What else is new? Some very naughty primordials and titan: Gaia AND Kronos AND Chaos' sister Order are loose in America, and Chaos' army has been summoned to help deal with them. Guess where the army will be staying? In CHB, of course! 
  Aside from fighting the bad guys' army, Percy and Nico also have to deal with nosy campers trying to look under their hoods, stalking them, and generally not minding their own business. 
  It's complicated. Just like everything related to demigods.

What if Nico di Angelo wasn't saved in time? ... No, I'm not saying that he died or snapped. I'm saying, what if at ten years old he was taken by Dr Thorne? Trained with Luke, the best swordsman of his generation? Started hating the gods like Luke, changed into a ruthless killing machine? TW: Percico- I'm sorry, I had to add it in. However, this is going to be ruthlessly honest Percico- Nico going through his internalised homophobia, boundaries, stuff like that. They might break up horribly- it is a possibility, and truthfully very likely, if it actually happened. I'll just have to wait and see. Non-graphic descriptions of violence, emotional manipulation, internalised homophobia, a few instances of strong language- but not many, I promise. If you get triggered by that, DO NOT READ. This book does NOT contain: Slurs of any kind or any sexual scenes whatsoever. I modelled this book so things in it happen realistically- it may not be happy, but it is what it is. If you don't like that, DO NOT READ. Also... Valgrace. I'm sorry, I love it, it had to happen. One more thing- to make the Percico less icky, I made Nico 2 years older- so 14 when Percy is turning 16, etc.
