They can tell the adult are ignoring something. Maybe an adventure could solve this little confusion. 
After all, when has Grandpa ever lead them wrong before? 

A fantasy, dystopian, apocalyptic, psychological thriller. It all starts with them catching a bug. But this all spirals and they soon run from their enclosed life with their beloved Grandpa. For a new start. Along their journey they are hunted down, they loose loved ones and meet new faimly along the way. All in the vayge hope of saving what is already lost.
