"Hey Elaine! Welcome back!" The blonde boy called out to her. Elaine turned around abruptly to see him. Beside the blonde boy was a boy with jet-black hair and a stone-cold face.

"Excuse me, do I know you?" Elaine asked puzzeledly.

"Of course you do! We've known you since fovever!" The blonde boy elated, but even he turned akward at the sight of Elaine's confused face. A slick, akward silence coated the air. Nobody spoke.

"You probably haven't realized it yet." The jet black haired boy said at last, breaking the ice. "But I know you better than even you do."

The truth is necessary thing, but not always an easy feat. Elaine Steele knows this for a fact. After a lifetime of hardship and anxiety, she has finally come to terms with the fact that there is nowhere she truly belongs. Then, when she had finally made peace with this fact, Elaine Steele's normal life is turned upside down by a mysterious letter. In no time at all, Elaine is forced into what could be the biggest mistake of her lifetime: attending the Marrowville Highschool for spies.

In Elaine's world, truths she was sure of become meaningless lies, deception is found around every corner, and nothing is as it seems. With all of this stuck on her plate, one question rises above all: Who really is Elaine and what is she doing at the mysterious school?
