Mikasa, Armin, and Eren all live together in an apartment in the city of Vancouver, they've been best friends since grade 1. 

But once christmas season comes armin goes away to be with annie's family while eren left to Germany long before that.

neither Mikasa or Armin know if he's ever going to come back since he isn't responding to any of them anymore. 

So read as Mikasa drowns herself in self misery before a christmas wish happens.
