Will Scarlett, a notorious outlaw in Robin Hood's gang, has a quiet but determined nature which roots his strong heart. Will agrees to be falsely named a traitor to expose the one who has taken coin from Sir Guy of Gisborne. This undertaking commits him to protect the outlaw gang, whilst he ponders deeply on his connections with his comrades.
An insight into the mind of William Scarlett during his 'decoy banishment' from the outlaw group in BBC Robin Hood series 2 episode 5, 'Ducking and Diving'. All dialogue is fitted round existing speech from the television series.
I have expanded Will's role and allowed his rebellious spirit (his outlaw status rather obliges him!) gives him the courage to independently and cleverly serve his friends.
