Emma Swan and her son Henry had just moved to small town Storybrooke, where they accidently run into Regina Mills, Storybrookes only deaf resident, and Ruby Lucas, her best friend and interpreter. Emma and Henry immediately get attached to the two women and Emma finds herself quickly falling for Regina. With the help of Ruby, Emma begins to learn sign to get closer to the woman she found breathtaking the minute she saw her.
Also known as I got tired of rereading the same Deaf fics over and over so I wrote my own.

Both lost their memories when they crossed the threshold of the town line - and they both somehow found one another again, without knowing who each other were.
