Five centuries after the Obsidian War, alpha Damian Valkyrie visits the Alaskan wilderness where the vampire castle has sat for thousands of years to renew the treaty as every faction does every one hundred years. While touring the castle he comes across a tower that has been home to his fated mate for longer than he's been alive.
When he finds out she's the thought dead dragon queen; he has a choice to make; save her from the vampire king and be ready for the war her rescue will bring to his pack lands in the mountains of Colorado, or reject her to spend eternity enduring the king's cruelty.
