Short summary-
You are a scientist who got hired by shockwave to join his group of scientists for a project. While working you and shockwave get to bond and work together, you learn the true nature of shockwave and what his intentions are. However does this affect your feelings towards him? Or will it make you join him?

This story will have slow burns but I promise you you'll get the juicy bits for sure. There are also sensitive topics in this story so readers be advised.

I've been aware for a while that despite my ramblings about Optimus and Cordelia, I haven't explored their relationship from the first movie...as in how they bonded, etc. This fic does go slightly AU as what I wanted for Lia and Optimus just didn't work with the plot of the movies. But then they meet Team Prime. Things start to change, the truth is slowly seeping through the cracks. Shelby can only keep the lie going for so long. What is she so desperately trying to hide? Will she start to trust Team Prime? Will she find the help she needs? There is some slight swearing, but I'm not going to classify it as mature because of some swearing. So I'm warning you now.
