Christmas is drawing near, but in a distant land far to the East, Marian of Knighton is unable to celebrate. The victim of a crime of passion inflicted on her by Guy of Gisborne, she lies dying on the ground in a dusty Palestinian town, her love Robin Hood close by her side.
