The Ascendance Series, originally called "The Ascendance Trilogy", is a series that follows the prince of Carthya, Jaron Eckbert III who becomes king at the end of book 1. He is best friends with Tobias Branch, a smart and educated orphan boy where, in his case, the pen is mightier than the sword. Roden Harlowe, a strong and capable young man who will fight to save his friends, family, kingdom, and king. Mott, Jaron's closest friend, and retired captain-of-arms. Imogen, an ex-servant for an ex-nobleman named Bevin Conner, and now a lady of the castle. Darius, his older adoptive brother, and king of a kingdom across the sea. Princess Armarinda, the betrothed princess of Carthya, though having no feelings for Jaron. And Fink, Jaron's adoptive younger brother who he wanted from day one, and will protect with his life. These are fanfiction oneshots for the series, so they do not have any pot or exact order unless said otherwise, and do not follow some parts of the canon. Warnings are in the first "chapter", enjoy!
