when twyla and ivory are thrown from there perfect "May Berry" lives after there dads go missing and there lives come crashing down around them. its not easy have both broken family living in the west of town, the girls trying to raise there brothers since there mothers are now abusive alcoholics. they become very depressed and school seem like there there only escape... until the principal decides to make some "changes" and all the sophomores are forced to transfer. there told they'll be sent in large groups to school nearby, well not in ivory and twyla's case. there sent just the to of them to the strange Granger high three hours away. there stuck with a crazy Councillor who is like Mary Poppins on drugs, a creepy principal, a brand new set of even bitchier cheer bots, and two oddly familiar very hot guys. and did i mention twyla is mute?
