Silas and Lila are young clerics in the last stage of their escape from being imprisoned. Their pursuers are right on their tracks and their time is running out. Will the teachings of their mentor hold up? Will their goddess be there for them in their time of need?

This is part of the back story of one of my Dungeons and Dragons character's, Silas. It is written like a prologue to a potential book and continuation to his story. Enjoy and thank you for reading.
